La Vampires & Zola Jesus – ST (2010)

This record is not for everybody… LA Vampires team up with Zola Jesus to create a fucking auditory hallucination. I wish I had some good fucking speakers because this would be best experienced cranked the fuck up. I would recommend this to my friend Carmen or anybody else that likes music consisting mostly of long drawn out echoic sounds. I’ll be surprised if this one even gets 2 hits.

Secret Chiefs 3 – Xaphan: Book of Angels volume 9 (2008)

This is one of my ALL TIME favorite records by one of my ALL TIME favorite bands. These guys jumped on the “Book of Angels” train, which are musical compositions from Jazz Master “John Zorn”. If you claim to love music and “listen to everything” this is a must have!!! I’ll be posting more of these guys in the future!

Crime in Choir – Trumpery Metier (2006)

This is probably my favorite progressive rock band of all time. I originally discovered these guys while reading about at.the.drive-in. Kenny Hopper, the original bassist for ATDI, appeared on Hell Paso and Alfaro Vive, Carajo! and is currently playing with these dudes. Best way to experience this record is puff on some super dank nuggs, lay back and and enjoy.
